Bella was amazing!! She went above and beyond in her service we love her so much. The food was phenomenal I had such a great time. You have to try the crabmeat cheesecake it’s literally the best thing i’ve ever had!!! Bella deserves a raise, shout out to her! She made us feel so special highly recommend!

We’re in town for bowling and found this great spot by chance. Fantastic spicy gumbo and sweet crab and corn chowder! The truffle Mac and Cheese was delicious and creamy and everything was piping hot! I didn’t get our bartenders name but he was super attentive and made delicious cocktails. Wasn’t very busy when we arrived but was full by the time we left. Great atmosphere, music was just right.

Amazing experience!! The food was perfect, drinks were unique and tasty. We ordered appetizers: Cauliflower, Boudin dip and Mac and Cheese. Could not stop eating the cauliflower and dip! Dinner I got the Crab and Brie grilled cheese and it was out of this world! Top it off with cotton candy for the table, wow! Visiting from Florida and could not of asked for a better restaurant to try!

Honestly I had no expectations coming here, I came for the creme for my birthday and a little light dinner. Maggie was my server and the most amazing girl ever. She was so happy and bubbly from the moment she greeted me at my seat and went the extra mile to make my birthday extra special. The food was good as well but sometimes there are just people that really make your day so much better and that was Maggie! The atmosphere of the restaurant was great too with both indoor and outdoor seating options available. Should I be back in Baton Rouge, I will definitely come back as everyone and everything was amazing!

Ashley greets you with a gigantic smile and the good times start. Enjoyed the crabmeat cheesecake, shrimp corn dogs and shrimp and grits. If you are like me and prefer to control sauce, order on the side. Atmosphere is great, and even with a crowd we still were able to hold a conversation if you speak up. Definitely, a great hangout.

Our server Trevor was friendly and informative. Everything we ate from the appetizer (Boudin Queso) to our entrees (Louisiana Alligator hotdog and Shrimp & Grits) were tasty and came out quickly. The drinks were delicious as well. Our personal favorite was the Blue heron...it was indeed a #happyhour

We're in town for bowling nationals, from Arizona. Stopped at Solou with some of our teammates for dinner. The ones that didn't come, missed out! We always share what we order so everyone can try as much of the menu as possible. We loved everything! Salmon, Rotisserie chicken, burgers, Alfredo, chicken and waffles, numerous appetizers. Everything was so good! I can't say enough about the server, Nate. Hands down the best service we've ever had. Five stars, highly recommend it! The manager even came by to check on us and was terrific as well.

I can’t believe this is a chain. Excellent food and service in a nice atmosphere!! Edit: This is NOT a chain restaurant. We stopped at the Lafayette location, by chance, on the way to NOLA. Because of our experience, we sought out the Baton Rouge location on the way home. Both were excellent!
